Our Units
International Cooperation Unit
Responsible for all matters concerning International Cooperation. International cooperation areas include: Automatic Exchange of Information (“AEOI”) (including the Common Reporting Standards (“CRS”), Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (“FATCA”), Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (“BEPs”) and Exchange of Information Upon Request (“EOIR”).
Compliance Unit
This unit will be responsible for monitoring the compliance of all relevant entities and persons in the Virgin Islands with the Common Reporting Standards, Economic substance and any other relevant international standard. Compliance monitoring will mainly be achieved through on-site and desk based assessments tailored to ensure adherence with the requirements.
Legal
Responsible for all legal matters in the International Tax Authority.
Support Services Unit
Provides integral support for all units as it relates to the day to day duties of officers within the Office of the Director, International Cooperation Unit and Compliance Unit. This unit also oversees the Accounting function of the ITA.
HR Unit
Human Resources plays a pivotal role within an organization, encompassing a range of key functions essential for effective management of personnel. HR’s core functions include recruitment, administration, compensation, training, employee relations, and performance management.
