Establishment of Ad hoc Committees and Invitation for Expressions of Interest
The International Tax Authority is pleased to announce the establishment of several Ad hoc Committees aimed at fostering collaboration between the International Tax Authority and the Industry concerning cross boarder tax matters.
The following Ad hoc Committee have been formed:
- FATCA & CRS;
- Economic Substance;
- Country by Country Reporting; and
- General and emerging cross-border tax matters.
We believe that by convening diverse perspectives and expertise, we can effectively tackle complex issues and create meaningful impact. As a part of these Committees you will be given an opportunity to weigh in on legislative reform, and implementation of the relevant standards in the Virgin Islands. Therefore, we invite expressions of interest from individuals who are passionate about contributing to the above implemented areas.
Expressions of interest are welcomed from individuals with expertise in the relevant areas. Interested individuals are invited to submit their expressions of interest by Friday, May 31st, 2024, to info@bviita.vg with the subject “Ad hoc Committee Expression of Interest”. Please include a brief statement outlining your background, areas of expertise, and the committee you would like to join.
